This position is for our branch in The Netherlands. Due to rapid growth, we are hiring a senior accounting associate who will facilitate the accounting department and (new) clients with high level of accounting knowledge. A pragmatic senior accountant who is working within accounting for many years and has deep knowledge of (process) payrolling, preparation of year end files and smooth onboarding of new clients.

You will be responsible for

• Being the key contact person for your colleagues from accounting and clients for questions regarding:

• Onboarding new clients together with the onboarding lead
• Identify improvement areas and initiate improvements within our company
• Additional ad hoc projects and assignments

What you bring to the table

• Affinity with Life Science and Tech and driven to work for the best in class R&D start ups
• Able to work autonomously and focus on output/deliverables rather than hours worked
• Has 7+ years of proven working experience within a similar role within accounting firm
• In possession of MBO level certificate or higher
• Excellent in MS Office and preferred experienced in Exact Online
• Excellent accounting and people skills
• Confident communicator in both Dutch and English language
• Able to liaise with stakeholders both internally and externally
• The ability to work in a stand-alone role, self-starter and high on follow up
